AVON — Robert Max Gray, Jr., 61, of Avon, NC died Monday, September18, 2017, at his home. A native of Dare County, he was the son of EstaGray and Robert Max “Bobby” Gray, Sr.

A commercial fisherman, Bobby, Jr. had a family affiliation with Faith Life Worship Center.

In addition to his parents, Bobby, Jr. is survived by a sister, RhondaGray; a brother, Virgil Gray and wife Dorothy all of Cape May, NJ; andseveral nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother,Steven Douglas Gray.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, atFaith Life Worship Center with Rev. Bryan Gray officiating. Burial willtake place at the Gray family cemetery in Buxton. The family willreceive friends and relatives on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. at the church.
