KILL DEVIL HILLS — 
Betty Hamilton Dozier, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 11, 2021 in Kill Devil Hills, NC. She was born to Clarence and Katherine Hamilton in Norfolk, VA where she grew up with a love of the ocean, graduated from historic Granby High School, and married her life-long love, John Dozier. She was a phenomenal knitter, loved crafting and word-play. She could do a crossword with a pen.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, John; sister, Mary Catherine; and grandson, Anthony.
She is survived by her brother, John; three children, Clare, Melissa (John), and John; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, who will all dearly miss their “Neeno.”
A memorial will be celebrated by family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society in her name.
