Betty Lou Gibbs Link a lifelong Manteo resident passed tragically Thursday, July 6, 2023, in Norfolk, VA due to unexpected complications from a routine medical procedure. She was 73 years old and enjoying a happy and peaceful life. Betty has been welcomed into eternal grace by her parents, Roy Gilbert and Matilda Ann Gibbs as well as her three brothers, Gilbert Bruce Gibbs, Michaels Roy Gibbs, and Darrell Keith Gibbs.
Betty Lou is survived by two sons, Barnie Midgett, and John Michael Reber; and by two sisters, Sherleen Gibbs Johnson of Columbia, SC, and Donna Gibbs Thomas of Wanchese, NC.
