MANTEO — Bradford Tyson “Braddy” Roughton, Jr., 64, of Manteo, NC passed away at his daughter’s home in Stumpy Point, NC, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Braddy was well known for his mechanic skills from the 50-plus years he worked alongside his father, Brad Roughton, Sr., and then later at Mannkaniks. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and, of course, riding his Harley.
Braddy was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Roughton; his father, Brad Roughton; and his stepmother, Tammy Roughton.
Surviving is his daughter, Lisa Price (Curtis) of Stumpy Point, NC; “like a son,” Rayven Walters (Christina) of Stumpy Point, NC; and “like a son,” Justin Cross (Heather) of Raleigh, NC. Also surviving is his brother, Kenny Roughton (Kat) of Manteo, NC; stepsister, Tabetha Nathaus (Eric) of Elizabeth City, NC; and stepbrother, Dennis Thompson of Kill Devil Hills, NC. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Sydney-Lee Smith, Austin Smith, Bailey Hines, Liam Sith, Joshua Christensen, Casey Walters, Jeremiah Walters, and Logan Cross; and a host of extended family and friends. To know Braddy was to love Braddy.
The family will accept visitors at the home of Lisa and Curtis Price (120 Bayview Drive, Stumpy Point).
