The family of Catherine Iuliucci is deeply saddened to announce her passing on October 22, 2023, in Peak retirement home Nags Head, NC. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on October 18, 1934, Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Gerard and Mildred DeVita, and her husband, Paul Iuliucci. She is survived by her three sons, two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two of her three brothers, Gerard Jr. and Carl DeVita.
Catherine and husband, Paul, resided happily in Patchogue, New York, for many decades. Catherine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. For years, she was an active and joyful artist/craft enthusiast who believed in works of art with purpose. In her final years, she moved from Patchogue NY, to Nags Head NC and just steps away from the beautiful beaches of the Outer Banks.
Catherine was funny, kind, honest, and a successful businessperson for a good part of her life. She, along with her children, were the owners and operators of a string of boutiques throughout the 1970s and 80’s. In her later years, she worked for the State of New York as a workers’ compensation office supervisor.
We are honoring Catherine’s directives for cremation. As she requested, Catherine’s memorial mass will be held in Patchogue, New York at a yet undetermined date. We would like to thank all the nurses and the day-to-day staff at Peak Nursing Facility who assisted Catherine throughout the past few years.
