MANTEO — Donald Dexter Dough, born September 9, 1955, passed from this life on January 16, 2025.

His parents were Thomas E. and Madeline P Dough. He is survived by brothers, W. Allen Dough, William T. Dough (Laura), James E. Dough, Robert R. Dough (Milah); sisters, Mary D. Bliven (Hubby), Carolyn D. Stetson (Rusty), and Connie D. Haywood (Phil); and many nieces and nephews.

Donald was a lifelong resident of Manteo, where he was born. He graduated from Manteo High School, was employed at Elizabethan Gardens, and later at NC Aquarium. He retired to live a quiet life at his home.

A graveside service is being planned for a later date.
