KILL DEVIL HILLS — Janice Lee Kedzierski, 79, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, at the Outer Banks Health Hospital. Born on January 25, 1945, in Buffalo, NY, Janice led a life marked by dedication to her family, her work, and her passions.
Janice dedicated 32 years of her professional life to sales and marketing at Hamilton and Carr, where she forged numerous friendships and left a lasting impression. In her retirement, she enjoyed the quiet pleasures of crossword puzzles and reading.
She often attended Holy Redeemer By-The-Sea Catholic Church, where she found community and solace.
Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Lee Kedzierski; her grandson, Zachary Houston; and her parents, Eleanor Dzina and Albert Daniel.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Candace Scarborough (Allen) of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her cherished grandson, Joshua Lee Houston of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her devoted sister, Carylon Zuchlewski (Kenneth) of Buffalo, NY; and her caring sister-in-law, Maryann Hulpiau (Charles) of Tonawanda, NY.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service. Memorial donations may be made to the Outer Banks SPCA (obxspca.org) in her honor.
Janice will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
