Jessie Hemphill formerly of Voorhees, NJ passed away peacefully June 8, 2023 in Nags Head, NC. Born December 20, 1930, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Howard Hemphill.
Jessie was the devoted mother of five children; Susan Schwartz of Kill Devil Hills, NC, Holly Farrell of Quakertown, PA, Stephen Hemphill of Englewood, FL, Amy Tait of Voorhees, NJ, and Drew Hemphill of Marlton, NJ. She was also the grandmother to 13 and great-grandmother to eight.
Jessie was a great conversationalist and would enjoy any topic of discussion. She was also a woman of great faith and her wit and warm personality was enjoyed by all. Jessie was so loved and truly will be missed by all.
