KITTY HAWK — Maritza Elizabeth Sorto Cruz, 49, of Kitty Hawk, NC died Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at her home.

Born in Honduras on July 5, 1973, she was the daughter of the late Gumerzinda Cruz and Guillermo Sorto.

Maritza is survived by her husband, Molina Eduardo Mario, and many family and friends.

A viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at The Ark Church from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jonathan Zafra officiating. Private burial will take place in Roanoke Island Memorial Gardens.
