MANTEO — Patricia Hyde Decker, 81, died at home of natural causes Sunday April 7, 2019. Her beloved children were at her side. Born in England, Patricia’s US citizenship was sponsored as a child, by the Church of Latter Day Saints. She became a church member and spent her life in service to others. Along the way, Patricia founded a successful business recruiting nurses from around the world to work in the United States.
Her three children who survive are her son, James L. Decker and her daughter, Elizabeth F. Decker both of Manteo and her daughter, Cindy S. Decker of Denver, CO. as well as her LDS Church family members who also survive. The Decker family has no plans for memorial services at this time.
