WANCHESE — Robert William Belvin, loving father, devoted husband, and cherished friend, passed away after a hard battle against cancer on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 56. Robert, known for his kind heart and quick wit, touched the lives of all who knew him.
As a resident of Wanchese NC, Robert was a dedicated member of his community, always willing to lend a helping hand and share a laugh with those around him. His passion for roofing, his animals, and survivalism brought joy to many, and his love for his family was unwavering.
Preceded in death by his mother, Mavis Eager of Manteo, NC, Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Shannon Lasater of Wanchese, NC, two sons; Joseph Roebuck of Greenville, NC and Devin Kilgore of Wanchese, NC, four daughters; Jamie Bishop of Elizabeth City, NC, Darlene Lane of Jacksonville, NC, Zoenova Barnes of Greenville, NC, and Carlie English of Camden, NC, as well as being survived by a sister Penny Elliot of Manteo, NC and her son, James Tisdale of Elizabeth City, NC, all who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. His warm smile, wise advice, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
