MANTEO — Ronald Hoskin Weintraub, 61, of Manteo, NC died Friday, June 19, 2020.
Born in Chowan County on September 11, 1958, he was the only child of the late Patricia Harrell and Robert Ronald Weintraub.
An excellent and beloved boat captain, Ronald loved life, the water, and fishing. He and his wife Becky created Skeeter Beater 20 years ago while living in Indiantown, Florida. They also had an amazing hot sauce business and traveled all over the United States selling their unique sauces.
Although an only child, Ronald had many friends that he called brothers and sisters. He will truly be missed by all.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Rebecca L. Sherrod of Manteo, NC; and their three dogs.
