Dare County Board of Education Meeting Set for June 24

The Dare County Board of Education will meet in special session on Monday, June 24, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., at the Dare County Schools Administrative Office in Nags Head, NC. The purpose of the meeting is for the Board to consider the following agenda items. The meeting will be held in open session.
– Budget Amendments for 2018-2019
– Interim Budget Resolution for 2019-2020
– Insurance Providers for 2019-2020
– Personnel Recommendations for 2019-2020
– Donation for the First Flight High School Football Program
– Policy Manual Updates
The Board will also meet in closed session with the Board of Education attorney to preserve the attorney-client privilege as provided in N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3) and to consider confidential personnel matters as provided in N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6).
