Ocracoke’s Holiday Boat Parade will light up Silver Lake on Friday, November 26

The annual Ocracoke Holiday Boat Parade will be returning to the waters of Silver Lake Harbor on Friday, November 26, at 5:30 p.m.
This Ocracoke tradition was revived in 2016 with a total of six participating vessels, and the post-Thanksgiving boat parade has been steadily getting bigger and brighter in the years since.
Ocracoke watermen, kayakers, sailors, fisherfolk, and jet skiers are all are welcome to join in the fun, and to help light up the waters of Silver Lake Harbor. “Boats small and large are welcome,” stated organizers in a recent update, “…if it floats, it can join the parade!”
Spectators can view the parade from anywhere around the harbor. The event is not sponsored by any specific organization, and all vessels participate at their own risk.
