Second annual Rodanthe community and charity yard sale set for Saturday, Oct. 12

In Rodanthe, the second annual community and charity yard sale is set for Saturday, Oct. 12 on the lawn at the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Community Building.
The yard sale runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. If the weather is not good, the yard sale moves inside the Community Building.
Look for special activities at the yard sale. The Outer Banks SPCA is bringing furry friends for adoption. A Chicamacomico Banks fire truck and firefighting volunteers will be on scene as will Community Emergency Response Team volunteers with the organization’s trailer. Paint a Shake at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station table. Local crafters are coming and others with treasures.
The address for the villages’ community building is 23646 NC 12, Rodanthe. The event is sponsored by the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association.
