Wind and Waves Regatta and Springfest Festivities are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! We need community support! Attending fun events is always a great way to show your support and have fun doing it! Here is whats in store for Saturday May 14 at Frisco Woods!
- Live Local Music – Including our Avon Favorite! Jim Hagy
- Silent Auction! – For The Scenic Pathway connecting Frisco and Buxton. Get great deals on sponsored donations from local businesses!
- Great Food! – 100 tickets are available for a waterfront fish fry hosted by Turners Raw Bar! 75 Lunch tickets are available for Pizza and BBQ provided by Tavern on 12!
- Bottomless Beer Pints! – Buy a pint and you can enjoy locally microbrewed beer as supplies last!
- Awesome Regatta Shirts by our local Screen Printing Company 3rd Stone Graphics
- Surfing Paddle Race – Surfers show you paddling stamina and power rounding the marks for prizes!
- Morning Beach Yoga Class by Mary Syrrist on Sat Morning.
- Dawn Patrol Surf Camp by Endless Summer Surf Obx
- Great Junior and Adult One Design Sailboat Races Saturday and Sunday! Over 50 Registered Competitors from all over! Wilmington, Lake Norman, Lake Gaston, New Bern, Oriental, Kill

This is the first Annual Wind and Waves One Design Sailing Festival Event! Camping, Sailing, Surfing, and lots of great fun things for the whole family to enjoy! All proceeds go to support Junior Sailing on Hatteras Island!
