Brief Power Outages Scheduled for May 15 and May 18
Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative has scheduled two brief power outages for Tuesday, May 15 and Friday, May 18, in order to perform maintenance to the transmission system.
The outages will affect Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon, and will include a 15 minute outage beginning at 1 a.m., and a five minute outage at the conclusion of work, which will be no later than 6 a.m.
If for some reason power to the home does not return following the planned maintenance, customers can call Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative at 866-511-9862.
