Tolls and Regular Schedules Resume on Swan Quarter / Cedar Island Routes

Tolls for the Cedar Island and Swan Quarter ferries to Ocracoke Island went back into effect on Friday as the Hatteras / Ocracoke free ferry was once again reopened to the public after Hurricane Florence.

The fees to ride the Cedar IsIand and Swan Quarter ferries were suspended while repairs were made to northern N.C. Highway 12 on Ocracoke Island, but now that the Hatteras ferry has resumed operations, tolls for vehicles and passengers are once again in effect.
