12 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday, bringing Dare County total to 436
Dare County announced 12 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Tuesday, August 26, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 436.
The 12 additional cases consist of 2 residents and 10 non-residents, and include the following:
1) non resident, 50-64, male, hospitalized
2) non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred isolation
3) non-resident, 25-49, male, isolating in Dare
4) non-resident, 18-24, male, transferred isolation
5) non-resident, 18-24, male, transferred isolation
6) non-resident, 50-64, female, isolating in Dare
7) resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
8) non-resident, 25-49, male, isolating in Dare
9) non-resident, 25-49, male, isolating in Dare
10) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
11) non-resident, 17 under, male, isolating in Dare
12) resident, 25-49, male home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Monday morning), at least 47 of 232 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 11 cases in Avon, 28 cases in Buxton, and 8 cases in Frisco.
