Dare County EMS Places 1st in Pulling for a Purpose

Dare County EMS won first place in the Public Safety category as well as overall Best Pull at the Dare Education Foundation’s Pulling for a Purpose fundraiser.  In one minute, the team of 5 five EMS employees pulled the C-54 aircraft weighing 47,000 pounds, a total of 59 feet 7 inches.  The fundraiser, held on Saturday, December 16 at the Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, raised funds for the Dare Education Foundation.
