13 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Thursday, bringing Dare County total to 239
Dare County announced 13 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Thursday, July 16, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 239.
The 13 additional cases represent 7 residents and 6 non-residents, and include the following:
1) non-resident, 25-49, male, hospital
2) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
3) non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
4) non-resident, 25-49, male, isolating in Dare
5) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
6) non-resident, 17 under, male, isolating in Dare
7) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
8) resident, 65 older, male, home isolation
9) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
10) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
11) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
12) non- resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
13) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Thursday morning), at least 34 of 124 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 8 cases in Avon, 20 cases in Buxton, and 6 cases in Frisco.
