14 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 22 in Dare County
Dare County announced 14 new positive COVID-19 test results from September 22, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 5,417.
With Wednesday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 116. There are also 13 current hospitalizations, and all of the 14 cases reported on September 22 were unvaccinated individuals.
The 14 additional cases consist of 10 non-residents and 4 residents, and include the following:

- non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
- resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
- resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
- resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
- non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
- non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
- resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
- resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
- resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
- resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
- resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
- resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
- non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
