15 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday, bringing Dare County total to 292
Dare County announced 15 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Wednesday, July 22, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 292.
The 15 additional cases consist of 8 residents and 7 non-residents, and include the following:
1) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
2) non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
3) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
4) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
5) non-resident, 25-49, female, isolating in Dare
6) non-resident, 50-64, male, isolating in Dare
7) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
8) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
9) resident, 18-24, male, home isolation
10) non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
11) non-resident, 65 over, female, transferred isolation
12) non-resident, 17 under, female, isolating in Dare
13) resident, 18-24, male, home isolation
14) resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
15) resident, 65 over, male home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Wednesday morning), at least 40 of 163 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 9 cases in Avon, 24 cases in Buxton, and 7 cases in Frisco.
