21 new COVID-19 cases reported on Friday, bringing Dare County total to 2,527

Dare County announced 21 new positive COVID-19 test results on Friday, January 29, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 2,527.

With Tuesday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 239.

The 21 additional cases consist of 18 residents and 3 non-residents, and include the following:

1) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
2) resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
3) resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
4) resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
5) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
6) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
7) resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
8) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
9) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
10) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
11) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
12) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
13) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
14) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
15) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
16) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
17) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
18) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
19) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
20) resident, 25-49, female, recovered, late report from state
21) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation

New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
