36 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 2 in Dare County

Dare County announced 36 new positive COVID-19 test results from September 2, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 4,800.

With Thursday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 202. There are also 14 current hospitalizations, and 5 of the 36 cases reported on September 3 were vaccinated individuals.

The 36 additional cases consist of 3 non-residents and 31 residents, and include the following:
