36 new COVID-19 cases reported on September 21 in Dare County

Dare County announced 36 new positive COVID-19 test results from September 21, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 5,403.

With Tuesday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 117. There are also 15 current hospitalizations, one recently reported COVID-19 related death, and 7 of the 36 cases reported on September 21 were vaccinated individuals.

The 36 additional cases consist of 16 non-residents and 20 residents, and include the following:
