4 new COVID-19 cases and 1 COVID-related death reported on Friday in Dare County
Dare County announced 4 new positive COVID-19 test results and 1 additional COVID-related death on Friday, February 19, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 2,748, and a total number of COVID-related deaths in Dare County to 13.
With Friday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 127, and the total number of COVID-related deaths since the pandemic began in 2020 is 12.
The 4 additional cases consist of 1 resident and 3 non-residents, and include the following:
1) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
2) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
3) non-resident, 17 under, female, transferred isolation
4) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
