6 additional COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday, bringing Dare County total to 226
Dare County announced 6 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Wednesday, July 15, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 226.
The 6 additional cases represent 3 residents and 3 non-residents, and include the following:
1) resident, 65 over, female, hospitalized
2) non-resident, 17 under, female, transferred isolation
3) non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
4) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
5) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
6) resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Wednesday morning), at least 34 of 123 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 8 cases in Avon, 20 cases in Buxton, and 6 cases in Frisco.
