Brief power outage scheduled for Wednesday morning in Avon and the Tri-villages
The Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperative (CHEC) will require a brief planned power outage on Wednesday, April 12, in order to replace a transmission pole near Askins Creek Dr. in Avon.
The power outage scheduled for Wednesday is as follows:
- Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon will experience a 5-minute outage at 7:oo a.m. There will also be a brief outage after the replacement is complete.
