Cape Hatteras celebrates two big wins in varsity volleyball, soccer
The Cape Hatteras Secondary School (CHSS) celebrated two big wins on Tuesday evening, October 25, which advanced both the boys’ soccer team and the girls’ volleyball team in the state playoffs.
The Lady Canes volleyball team defeated North Moore 3-0 to advance to the third round of the state playoffs in a well-attended home game in Buxton. They will be traveling to play the Neuse Charter Cougars on Thursday, October 27, at 6:00 p.m. in Smithfield, and folks who want to travel to cheer on the Canes can order tickets online.
The Cape Hatteras Varsity Soccer team defeated Williamston’s Bear Grass Charter School on the road in a 4-0 victory, and are now the Conference Champions. Their upcoming playoff schedule will be announced soon, and folks can find updates on future games via the Cape Hatteras Athletics’ Facebook page.
