Cape Hatteras Lady Canes Beat Manteo 42-40, While Boys Beat Bear Grass 49-48 on Senior Night

The Cape Hatteras Lady Canes varsity basketball team won Friday’s non-conference game against Manteo by a score of 42-40, while the Cape Hatteras boys varsity basketball team beat Bear Grass 49-48, on two Senior Night games that were held on Friday, February 12.
Freshman Kylie Phillips led the team in scoring for the Lady Canes with 12 points, while senior Eliza Quidley scored 9 points and was selected as the Cape Hatteras player of the game.
On the boys team, Osmar Padilla led the team in scoring with 16 points, followed by Kaleb Spake with 13 points, who was also selected as the Cape Hatteras player of the game.

The Lady Canes will have their next game against Manteo again on Thursday, February 18, at 5:00 p.m., while the boys will challenge Manteo on Monday evening at 5:00 p.m. Congratulations to the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes on their Friday victories!
