The Hatteras Island community is invited to come out and support the Lady Canes as they take on Roxboro Community School in the second round of the state volleyball playoffs on Tuesday, October 26, at 5:00 p.m. in Buxton
The Lady Canes earned the Conference Championship title on October 19 after beating Bear Grass Charter of Williamston, NC, in a 3-1 victory.
The Canes then went on to win their first-round game of the state playoffs against North Duplin of Calypso, N.C., in a 3-0 home game that took place on Saturday afternoon, October 23.
On Tuesday, the Lady Canes will once again be on their Buxton home turf as they challenge Roxboro Community School of Roxboro, N.C. The Canes enter the game with an overall season record of 16-3, while Roxboro has an overall record of 15-7.
Per a social media update from the Cape Hatteras Secondary School, the theme of Tuesday’s game is white out, so attendees are encouraged to get decked out in white apparel. The entry fee to attend Tuesday’s game is $7.00 (cash only.)
