Dare County confirms two new COVID-19 Cases on Sunday
Dare County announced another positive COVID-19 test result on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 35.
Another positive case was identified on Saturday, June 13, and prior to Saturday, the case count had remained at 32 since June 7, 2020.
The two new cases include a female non-resident who is 18-24 years of age and who has transferred to her home county, and a male resident who is 65+ and who is recovering in home isolation
There have been a total of 24 resident COVID-19 cases and 11 non-resident cases since the first case was identified in Dare County in March.
New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
