Dare County reports 16 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Dare County announced 16 new positive COVID-19 test results on Wednesday, April 1, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 2,975.

With Thursday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 57.

The 16 additional cases consist of 11 residents and 5 non-residents and include the following:

1) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
2) resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
3) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
4) non-resident, 65 over, male, transferred isolation
5) non-resident, 65 over, female, transferred isolation
6) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
7) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
8) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
9) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
10) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
11) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
12) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
13) non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
14) non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
15) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
16) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation

New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
