Dare County reports 22 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, highest number of new cases since Feb. 2
Dare County announced 22 new positive COVID-19 test results on Thursday, March 17, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 2,874. The 22 cases are the highest number of new cases reported in a day since February 2, 2021.
With Thursday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 35.
The 22 additional cases consists of 15 residents and 7 non-residents and include the following:
1) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
2) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
3) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
4) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
5) non-resident, 18-25, female, transferred isolation
6) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
7) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
8) resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
9) resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
10) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
11) non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
12) resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
13) resident, 25-49, female home isolation
14) resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
15) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
16) non-resident, 50-64, female, transferred isolation
17) non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred isolation
