Frisco Free Market updates list of much-needed donations as of Sunday afternoon
The Frisco Really, Really Free Market continues to be the island’s primary spot for depositing donations and picking up post-Dorian supplies, with more than 100 people in need stopping by the market on Saturday alone.
The good news is that multiple, generous donations have also been steadily arriving at the market – from businesses, residents, and visitors – and organizers estimate that their long tables of free supplies fully rotate, or turnover, every 36 hours or so.
Additional and similar spots for supplies are available at other locales on the island, such as the St. John’s United Methodist Church in Avon village.
The Assembly of God in Hatteras village, which is located at 57343 Eagle Pass Rd., will also be open and offering supplies for all those affected by Hurricane Dorian, and the doors will be open on Monday at 10:00 a.m. for anyone in need.
