Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry operations resume
Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry operations have resumed starting with the 2:00 p.m. departure from Hatteras and the 2:30 p.m. departure from Ocracoke, per an update from the North Carolina Ferry System.
Ferry service was suspended on Tuesday, November 8, due to high winds and rough seas, and there is a possibility of additional service interruptions later this afternoon due to weather.
Afternoon crossings for the Ocracoke-mainland routes, (Cedar Island and Swan Quarter), have been canceled for Wednesday, November 9.
