Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry running on an amended schedule for Monday
The Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry is running on an amended schedule for Monday, November 27, per an update from the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Ferry Division.
Per the NCDOT, the amended schedule is due to a mechanical issue in one of the boats that serves the Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry route. NCDOT personnel are working on the issue now, and it is unknown as of Monday morning when the regular winter schedule will resume.
The amended schedule is listed below. To get notified of ferry delays or cancellations, sign up for text and/or email alerts via the N.C. Ferry System’s FINS system: www.ncdot.gov/fins. Users will get notified of any schedule changes directly from the terminal and can unsubscribe at any time.
