Ocracoke Island to host vaccine clinic on Friday, June 18
The Hyde County Health Department will be conducting COVID Vaccine Clinics in various locations for the month of June, including Ocracoke Island. If you have not received your COVID-19 vaccine shot yet, you can attend any of these clinics without an appointment. Vaccines provided at the clinics include the Pfizer vaccine for ages 12 and up, the Moderna vaccine, and the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine.
The Ocracoke vaccine clinic will be held at the Ocracoke Community Center at 999 Irvin Garrish Highway from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, June 18, and all upcoming Hyde vaccine clinics are as follows:
- Saturday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Martell’s Feed House
- Wednesday, June 16 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ponzer VFD
- Friday, June 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ocracoke Community Center
At the clinics, vaccines will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. Ocracoke Island residents can also call the Health Department at 252-926-4467 and make an appointment to receive the vaccine in the office.
