Pet Vaccination Clinic for Hatteras Island Residents scheduled for Oct. 21
Coastal Humane Society and Friends of Felines – Hatteras Island will host a vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on Wednesday, October 21, from 8 a.m. until noon.
The clinic will be held at 41076 N.C. Highway 12, (the yellow building next to Nino’s Pizza), with veterinarian Dr. Martha Edwards, a Mobile Vet based in Cary, N.C.
No appointment is needed to attend the morning clinic. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers, and masks are required for all human attendees.
The cost of vaccinations for dogs will be $28, (which covers vaccines for rabies, distemper-parvo, and Bordetella), and the cost for cats will be $15 (for rabies and FVRCP). Cash and checks will be accepted only. (No credit cards.)
