Six additional COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday, bringing Dare County total to 156
Dare County announced 6 additional positive COVID-19 test results on Wednesday, July 8, bringing the total number of cases in the county to 156.
The 6 additional cases consist of 5 residents and one non-resident, and include the following
1) resident, male, 25-49, hospital
2) non-resident, female, 18-24, transferred isolation
3) resident, female, 18-24, home isolation
4) resident, male 50-64, home isolation
5) resident, male, 17 under, home isolation
6) resident, female, 50-64, home isolation
2) non-resident, female, 18-24, transferred isolation
3) resident, female, 18-24, home isolation
4) resident, male 50-64, home isolation
5) resident, male, 17 under, home isolation
6) resident, female, 50-64, home isolation
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Wednesday morning), at least 25 of 81 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 7 cases in Avon, 13 cases in Buxton, and 5 cases in Frisco.
