Water line break in Frisco expected to be fixed by Friday afternoon
A break in the underground water line in Frisco led to traffic delays and interrupted service for some Frisco property owners, but the water line is expected to be fixed by Friday afternoon, per the Dare County Water Department.
Repairs to the water line were delayed due to a car accident at the site involving one vehicle that had to be towed out of the ditch where the break in the line occurred. No injuries were reported in the traffic incident.
The stranded vehicle has been removed, and it is estimated that the repairs will take a maximum of three hours. Properties in Frisco within 1/4 mile of the site may experience reduced water pressure until repairs are completed.
