Where to Celebrate New Year’s Eve on Hatteras Island for 2021

Ready to leave 2021 behind and start 2022 with a bang? Hatteras Island is offering a host of events that are designed to ring in the New Year with plenty of food, drinks, and miles of fun to go around.

From multiple course dinners to the annual “Old Farts” New Year’s Eve celebration that will have early birds in bed by 11 p.m., here is a roundup of ways to toast the beginning of 2022, island style.

Café Pamlico’s Four-Course New Year’s Eve Dinner, Buxton

Café Pamlico is once again hosting its annual New Year’s Eve multiple-course dinner with plenty of delicious fare and sparkling drinks, with the Pamlico Sound as an enchanting backdrop. This year’s dinner will feature four courses as well as a complimentary champagne toast to ring in the New Year. Pangea Tavern’s Old Farts New Year’s Eve Dinner

Want to be home by the time the ball drops in Times Square? Then come out to Pangea Tavern’s annual Old Farts New Year’s Eve Party. The evening features live music, a complimentary champagne toast, and an island-appropriate anchor drop at 9:30 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 252-995-3800, and more information can be found online at https://www.facebook.com/events/338546467747823.

Lighthouse Sports Bar’s New Year’s Eve Party

Lighthouse Sports Bar will be hosting its annual New Year’s Eve party with live music, drinks, and plenty of fun to last until midnight and beyond. The event features the band CC Ryder, and the party will be rocking from 10:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., (although Lighthouse Sports Bar will be open throughout the afternoon and evening for a little pre-game grub.)
