Resort Realty acquires Hatteras Island
vacation rental division of Colony Realty
Resort Realty has announced recent merger of the Colony Realty vacation rental management division with its newly launched Hatteras Island Vacation Rentals division. More than 70 Hatteras Island vacation homes, formerly managed by Colony Realty, will now be offered in Resort Realty’s Hatteras Island vacation rental program.
For more than 50 years, Colony Realty has been a full service property management and real estate firm on Hatteras Island in Avon. Started by the Goldberg family and most recently under the management of daughter Leslie Painter, the firm grew to manage more than 120 Hatteras Island vacation homes. Moving forward, Leslie will continue to manage Colony Realty, offering long term rentals and real estate sales services on the island.
Painter stated, “Our family has been providing quality, affordable family vacations on our beautiful island for 50 years. Now, it is time to move on to a quieter, simpler life. I am confident we have left our vacation venue in capable, experienced hands.”
With Resort Realty’s recent opening of its Hatteras Island office, the welcomed addition of these fine vacation rentals further places Resort Realty in a position as a leading company in the Outer Banks property management sector.
Resort will welcome Hatteras Island guests and owners at their new vacation welcome center and real estate sales office located in the town of Waves on Highway 12. The company now manages more than 575 Outer Banks vacation homes from Corolla to Hatteras Island.
