Mobile DMV office to visit Hatteras and Ocracoke on Oct. 6 and 7
The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles will send its mobile unit to Hatteras and Ocracoke islands this week to assist customers affected by Hurricane Irene. The unit will offer new and renewal driver license services.
The mobile unit will be set up at its usual locations, where telephone and data connections are now available.
The unit will be located at Hatteras on Thursday, Oct. 6, and at Ocracoke on Friday, Oct. 7.
Locations and hours for the two visits are:
Hatteras – Thursday, Oct. 6. Hatteras Civic Center, 1498 Highway 12, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. 252- 341-0567
Ocracoke – Friday, Oct. 7. Ocracoke Community Center, Highway 12, from 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. 252- 341-0567.
