Gary Wayne O’Neal

RODANTHE– Gary Wayne O’Neal, 53, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, in hisresidence.  Mr. O’Neal was born in Norfolk, Va., and was aretired plumber and a member of Fair Haven United Methodist Church.

He was the son of the late Frederick Dalton and Ethel Midgett O’Neal.

Survivingare one daughter, Dusty Star Johnson of Greenville, N.C.; one son,Courtland Wayne O’Neal of Rodanthe; two sisters, Verona Jenningsand husband Robert of Holiday Island, N.C., and Brenda Ewell andhusband Bob of Virginia Beach, Va.; one brother, Frederick R.O’Neal and wife, Mary of Rodanthe and aunts, nieces and nephews,and numerous friends.  Mr. O’Neal was preceded in death by abrother, Dalton W. O’Neal. 

Acelebration of life will be held at Fair Haven United Methodist Churchon Sunday, Sept.14, at 3 p.m. by Rev. Chris Nobles.  Burial willbe in the family cemetery in Rodanthe.  Friends may join thefamily at Fairhaven United Methodist Church Saturday from 7 until9. 

Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo is assisting the family with arrangements.
