MLK Holiday Trash Collection is Announced

The Dare County C&D Landfill, the Manteo and Buxton Transfer Stations, the Manteo Recycle Yard and the Rodanthe Recycle Center will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 in observance of
Martin Luther King Holiday.

• The trash collection for the week of January 21st through January 25th will be as follows:
• Monday January 21st- CLOSED, No trash collection
• Tuesday January 22nd – Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras
• Wednesday January 23rd -Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon
• Thursday January 24th – Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras
• Friday January 25th- Manteo, Wanchese, Manns Harbor, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon
• Commercial dumpsters will be picked up on Tuesday January 22nd and Friday January 25th
