BUXTON –David Eris Waterfield, 59, of Buxton, NC died Friday, January 5, 2018,at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Anative of Buxton, NC he was the son of Gilda Ellen Quidley Waterfieldand Wilbur Eris Waterfield of Buxton, NC.
Alongwith his parents, David is survived by his wife, Dana Marie QuidleyWaterfield; a daughter, Hannah Waterfield of Nashville, TN; a son,Justin Waterfield (Jessea) of Buxton, NC; four grandchildren, EllaGrace and Everly Marie of Nashville, TN and Jacey Lee and Josiah Lannonof Buxton, NC; four siblings, Gail Brunson (Eddie), Dawn Midgett(Carroll), Timmy Waterfield (Susan), and Steve Waterfield (Jennifer)all of Buxton, NC; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Davidwas a servant of the Lord. He dedicated his life to the ministry thatwas placed in his care. He has received his heavenly reward for hisfaithfulness to the call of God on his life.
Afuneral will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at theLighthouse Assembly of God Family Life Center (across from CapeHatteras High School) with Rev. David Daniels and Rev. Raymond Hoggard,Jr. officiating. A private burial will take place. The family willreceive friends and relatives Monday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 pm atthe Family Life Center.
