BUXTON– H. Curtis Gray, 83, of Buxton died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at hisresidence. Mr. Gray, a native of Buxton, was a real estate broker and amerchant. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina atChapel Hill and a veteran, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Hewas a member of Buxton United Methodist Church, a past master of theCape Hatters Masonic Lodge # 698 AF&AM, and was very active in thecommunity. Mr. Gray was the son of the late Charles Poole and OdessaJennette Gray. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles FatioGray and Wallace R. Gray, and two sisters, Iva McAden and Eleanor Gray.
Heis survived by his wife, Olga Perdomo Gray of the residence; adaughter, Lynn G. Price of Selma, N.C.; a sister, Janet Finnegan ofBuxton; two brothers, Thomas B. Gray and Jack S. Gray, both of Buxton;two grandchildren, Joannah Lassiter and John Curtis Davis; and agreat-grandson, Michael.
ACelebration of Life will be held at Buxton United Methodist Church onWednesday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Cory Oliver officiating. Burialwill be in the Quidley Cemetery in Buxton. The family will receivefriends at the church on Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Twiford Island Chapel, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements.
