SALVO– Herbert Allan Haines, 67, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at his home. Hewas born to Archie L. Haines and Frances Bray in Washington, D.C., onJuly 7, 1946, and was the husband to Elaine Lilly Haines.
He wasa United States Marine and served in Vietnam from 1965 to 1968. Herbertworked for AT&T as a technician, and attended Stillwaters BaptistChurch in Nags Head.
In addition to his wife, he issurvived by his sons, Andrew and his wife, Mellisa, of Statesville,N.C., and their children, Brayden and Lilly; Mark, and his wife, Terah,of Charlotte, N.C., and their son Cade; Adam, and his wife, Laurel, ofCharlotte, N.C., and their children, Wyatt and Levi, and Luke, and hiswife, Sarah, of Charlottesville, Va., and their children, Griffin,Kaleigh, and Tanner. He is also survived by his brothers, Donald andKenny. He is predeceased by his sister, Joan Jordan.
